Visma takes over PlusPort

Visma acquires PlusPort – leading Dutch supplier of learning management systems and e-learning solutions

Visma has reached agreement on the acquisition of PlusPort, market leader in cloud solutions for learning and development. The SafetyPort sub-label is also part of the transaction.

Visma’s presence on the Dutch market has grown considerably in the last twelve months. The company’s software offering on the Dutch market includes solutions for financial management, HRM, procurement and e-government. In addition to Visma Connect (EBPI) and Visma Software, various well-known organizations such as Visma Raet, Visma Roxit, ProActive, Davilex, Dotweb, HR2day, Visma Idella and Pinkweb are part of the Visma group.

PlusPort currently employs 38 people and provides cloud solutions for learning & development. Their solutions are used by more than 975,000 professionals, which makes PlusPort the market leader in the Netherlands in the field of cloud-based training and certification services. Customers can use the PlusPort platform on a global scale and the number of active users varies from 100 to more than 35,000 per customer portal in various industries. The SafetyPort sub-label provides cloud-based risk mitigation systems in which customers record and analyze incidents and manage corrective actions to limit risks.
