There is a lot of communication about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or GDPR, which became applicable on 25 May. But what do you do now to ensure that you are really ready? We can be very specific about this for our PlusPort Academy LMS software. In our Learning Management System – Academy, we have adapted the following:
- A new privacy matrix that allows your organization to share specific privacy-related information specifically and effectively with third parties, such as trainers and industry colleagues.
- Password policy: this means that no more passwords are sent to users, but a link that allows the user to create a password that meets stricter minimum requirements and that can be expanded by your organization with its own password policy.
- Anonymize user data: in the context of the AVG, it is now possible to anonymize user data automatically. A retention period can be set after which an inactive user can be made anonymous. This way important data for your compliance is preserved and you also comply with the AVG / GDPR.
